Christian Education Classroom Assistant
Like working with kids ages 3 to 12 years of age? We are looking for classroom assistants on Sunday mornings that are willing to engage with the children in one of three different classrooms. Our class sizes are small, but require a minimum of two adult/teens to be present in each room at all times. We have lots of fun in our learning environment and would love to include you as part of our team. We have had students in the past from area high schools including Bishop Feehan do their community service with us. If you are considering a teaching field or a child psychology field in your future, this would be a great opportunity for you to observe and learn while engaging with fun and energetic kids. Tech Team Member
Looking for individuals interested in technology to be part of a team of people providing support to individuals unable to attend church service on Sunday mornings. When it is a Sunday the Tech Team member is on duty the individual will need to be at the church at 9:45 am (during the months of September – May) and 9:15 am during June – August. The primary duty will be to start a Zoom meeting just before the church begins and monitor the meeting during the (approx 1 hour) service. It's a standard routine that we follow:
o start the meeting approximately 15 minutes early
o start recording when the service begins
o Control the camera by selecting preset locations during the service depending on who is talking (i.e. pulpit, lectern, organist, choir, communion table)
o End the meeting and then plug in the equipment (iPad & iPhone) to recharge for the next week
• Training will be provided. The person would report to the deacon on duty for the day.

Elevator Operator
• Would need to be at the church for Sunday service starting at ~9:15 AM in the summer and ~9:45 AM for the rest of the year. We are looking for a team of people to do this so the commitment might be at least once a month. The primary duty would be to facilitate the elevator operation as required by Massachusetts law for our "non-automatic" elevator. The key part of the job is making sure that the elevator safety equipment (manual gate) is closed and working properly after loading and unloading.
• Training will be provided. People would report to the deacon on duty for the day.
